What price would this be on a dealer's forecourt?

This seller has a very high throughput of good looking vehicles - interested to know if they are getting better prices on Ebay than they would on the forecourt?

There is no warranty. It's an auction so not covered by sale and supply of goods to consumers regs, etc. There's no comeback, which they make plain on their Me page.

I think I discussed those particular Ebay sellers with someone else on a thread here quite recently, I bought a C5 from them back in July. Nice fellas, and pretty decent feedback.

The Passat looks cracking value - there was a nice low mileage 407 with leather went through that same week for not much more, I'd have taken that were I buying again!

I'm presuming they make their profit on the sheer volume of cars they shift - a few quid up here, a few quid down there, and crossing their fingers the former outweigh the latter!

I paid £2800 privately for a similar (identical spec, but saloon) Passat earlier this year. 53 plate, 90k on it and thought I got quite a good deal.
