60/40 splits on van rear doors - Chris S
Why do some vans (eg VW Caddy) have a 60/40 split rear door?

The smaller door can't be opened without opening the big door so it can't be to ease access in confined areas.

To out a bigger rear window behind the driver when the van is LHD, which it is designed to be. Not a fat lot of help to the Brits.
