No separation between 'Discussion' and 'Technical'. Everything in one.
There was some argument about the name, but eventually 'Biker's Caff' won.
Should be up and running within the next few days.

Went into my local bike dealer-totally unlike a car dealer-once the salesman had shepherded all the scooter kids staring at Fireblades out of my way,he could not have been more helpful-I almost bought there and then-not a Fireblade, a mere Guzzi!

The Ace Cafe has those, not that I'm a biker, just meet once a month for an "all marques" event that regularly gets an excellent line up of supercars.

With everything being 'rolled into one' would that be better for the Discussion/Technical? All I do is constantly flit between the two looking for new posts anyway.

Not for the main forum, no. Discussion and Technical remain separate because of the much larger number of threads.

Like I said....there's always someone who wants to remind us all that bikes can hurt you. Just in case we hadnt already realised. We need a rule in bikers cafe....No more "hey everyone, bikes are dangerous" type posts. We know that already; please dont keep telling us.

I just hope the caff isn't the start of segregation - there is enough of "you can't come in here with that gear on".

Had enough of that in the 70's; thankfully most people nowadays are more open-minded, and waxed-cotton Belstaffs are no longer the wet-weather gear of choice!
Might I suggest though that we "do as we should be done by" and avoid anti-cage rants?
High moral ground and all that. ;-)

Just posted in Biker's Caff, but it says I have to put Make/Model, with no bikes in there, or category, which isn't appropriate either. Teething troubles I suspect.
