HJ letters page online [Read only] - teabelly
This used to be sensibly laid out so that all letters for one week were on one page. Now whoever has been putting them online is putting on one letter per page so if you want to read all of them you have to click about instead of just going to one page and scrolling down! This is a basic usability error. If people only want to read letters on one subject then you can easily make a clickable link in the title as it was as the subjects of each weeks letters were always listed anyway.

Some little twerp comes along and stamps his mark on his little empire and we all suffer.

Some folk just can't leave things alone!

I did take it up with them and they said that doing it that way generated a lot more traffic. I expressed my doubts that it was the right kind of traffic, but that is all I could do. It's their website, not mine. However, I have all the column copy for this year on file, so we could publish it all on this site where it would be keyword searchable.

Meanwhile another reader has suggested you use the RSS feeds which are available on the Telegraph Website. www.telegraph.co.uk/rssfeeds/

For example, in Safari or Firefox etc..., you can drag the link to your address bar and it will show the number of unread articles too. I even have these on my iPhone where you can subscribe to your favourite feeds and it will tell you about new messages the instant they are online. You see a summary and then click or tap for the full story. I suspect this is the real reason (a technical reason) that the articles on the telegraph site have each been given a separate page.
