Isuzu Trooper (1987 to 1992) - 90 2.6 Overdrive problem

90 2.6 Overdrive problem - taffydog
My 2.6 Trooper (automatic) only changes into overdrive at high speed (70 and above) and randomly changes down again - v. annoying and v. bad for petrol consumption. It only has 20K(!) on the clock, by the way. Has anybody come across this before?
