09 2.0 CRDi cambelt or camchain? - Grease_monkey
I am looking at possible buying a new car. I know the 1.6 CRDI is a Chain Cam but not sure about the 2.0. Can anyone tell me if the 2.0 CRDI is a Timing Chain or a Timing Belt?

According to HJ's Car-by-Car guide, it's a belt engine...

Thought as much. From further research on the web it's not really that much better than the 1.6 CRDi.

After looking around and lot's of research and headaches i have now purchased a 08, Honda Civic 2.2 ES which i know for a fact is chain cam.
