Mercedes 220 CDI - European breakdown - Gilli

Do we need to buy European breakdown insurance for our trip to France? Some cover is available from Mercedes. My husband thinks this is enough but I'm not so sure.

What cover do you already get? Imagine the worst, a complete engine wreck.

A couple of weeks in a French workshop or a recovery back to the UK with you as passengers?

If its a newish DB under warranty then the euro cover is superb if its some dealer add on then read the small print
