Do any Broomers know where I can hire a Lotus Elise for a day?
I had my heart set on a track day as an Xmas present, but this seems a little expensive.
My best price is currently about £130, but this is in London. I'm based in Bristol and obviously, the closer the better!

I think the standard Elise is about £149, the £130 sounds very cheap and probably reflects the London level of competition.
Mate hired one in Oxfordshire and it was nearly £200 per day.

You'll get better value out of a track day in an Elise, because at least you'll be able to drive it to it and your limits. First time in one it took me three spins to get fastest time of the group at Bedford Autodrome. Can't do that on the public highway without incurring big bills and broken ankles.
