Video: Jenson Button talks about fuel efficiency in F1
Published 19 November 2013
McLaren’s F1 ace Jenson Button has teamed up with Mobil 1 to discuss the importance of choosing the right oil to improve fuel efficiency.
Fuel economy is big news in F1 at the moment, with new regulations coming in 2014 that will stipulate that all teams must ditch thirsty V8s and use 1.6-litre turbocharged V6s. As part of the new rules, there's a limitation to using no more than 100kg of fuel per race.
In this exclusive video (below) the 2009 Formula One World Champion talks about the benefits of using a synthetic oil - like Mobil 1 – to cope with the rule changes.
