Geneva Motor Show 2014: Nissan unveils facelifted Juke

The facelifted Nissan Juke has been revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It’s not the most radical of facelifts although apparently the headlights, tail lights, bumpers and grille have been given fairly subtle overhauls. However at a glance this is very much the same car as before.

There are more significant changes under the skin, however, with cleaner engines and more tech. There’s a new 115PS 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is also available in the new generation Qashqai. It’s efficient, with official fuel economy of 51.4mpg and emissions of 126g/km.

The boot on front-wheel drive models has been enlarged a little, thanks to some space freed up by their lack of a rear differential, while some of Nissan’s more recent technologies have been added, like blind spot warning, lane departure warning and moving object detection. There’s also a new glass roof option.

Prices shouldn’t change radically and you can expect to see the updated Juke in showrooms in a few months.
