Goodwood 2015: Debut for decadent Range Rover SVAutobiography
Land Rover will waft into Goodwood with a new top-of-the-range uber-Range Rover, called the SVAutobiograhy.
The SVAutobiography name might be strangely spaceless, but the car itself is not. Based on the range-topping Autobiography spec, Range Rover hasn’t said much about what it entails, aside from that it’s the “most luxurious Range Rover ever.”
This means a guaranteed six-figure price tag, and as you can see above, a two-tone paint job that says “I’m so well heeled that my car has twice as many paints as yours.”
Jaguar Land Rover will also use Goodwood to show off the 2016 model year Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport models, both of which get the company’s new Ingenium engine – making the Evoque the most efficient Range Rover ever.
Ingenium equipped, the Evoque boasts a truly remarkable 109g/km CO2 emissions and 68mpg. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine also allows the Discovery Sport to spit out just 129g/km while packing seven seats and four-wheel drive. JLR hasn’t confirmed its power output yet.
JLR will offer passenger off-road rides at Goodwood too, and even something for kids, courtesy of radio controlled mini Land Rovers on a little off road course. Get ‘em young.
