Kia offers £2000 discount

Kia is offering a discount of up to £2000 on some new models as part of a new scheme it calls the 7 Year Switch.

Available on Picanto, Rio, Soul, Venga and Cee'd models, the 7 Year Switch programme allows buyers to trade in a used car that is seven years old or more with a guaranteed trade-in of at least £1500.

The £1500 trade-in value is offered on the Picanto, Rio and Venga models, while the Soul and Cee'd come with a £2000 discount. Kia says its programme works in a very similar way to the scrappage scheme and customer must have owned their old vehicle for at least six months to qualify for the 7 Year Switch

As part of the deal, all new Kias come with a seven-year warranty as standard. The offer runs until 31 March and Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK), said: 'We're giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a look at Kia and every single model is covered by the best new-car warranty in Europe.'
