Vauxhall announces prices and specs for Insignia Country Tourer
Order books for the Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer are now open, with prices starting at £25,349. The all-wheel drive Insignia is offered with two trim levels - Country Tourer and Country Tourer Nav – along with the choice of two 2.0-litre diesel engines.
Based on the existing Sports Tourer, the ‘Country’ was debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show and features rugged styling and a higher ground clearance over its Sports sibling.
Prices for the entry level Country Tourer trim start at £25,349 and feature bi-xenon adaptive front lighting, power tailgate and front and rear parking sensors as standard. For a £1150 premium, buyers can specify the higher Country Tourer Nav trim, which includes sat nav with eight-inch colour touch screen, multi-function touch-pad controller and an eight-inch digital instrument cluster as standard.
Power comes from a choice of two diesel 2.0 CDTi powertrain options, with either 163PS or 195PS. The 163PS engine is available with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, while the 195PS BiTurbo comes with the automatic gearbox only.
First deliveries of the Insignia Country Tourer are due in dealers in January 2014.
