Honda announces Tokyo show line up
Published 23 October 2013
Honda has announced its line up of cars and bikes for the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The highlight is the S660 concept, a small open topped ‘kei-car’ much like the Beat, which was produced in the 1990s. The concept previews a production car for the Japanese market, where restrictions mean cars of its size can only have 660cc engines with a maximum of 64PS – figures the concept matches.
The production car will be largely the same as the concept, with the addition of a retractable roof. Should the car arrive in European markets it’ll probably have a larger engine with more power. Honda is also to show a small SUV concept, its NSX concept and a selection of its motorcycles, including a 50cc moped called the Dunk.
