Lexus RX 450h Advance gets specification boost
Lexus has improved the RX 450h Advance by adding £1000 worth of premium kit. That means the RX 450h Advance costs £48,495, as before, but now comes with a 15-speaker sound system boasting a 200mm subwoofer and 7.1 surround sound capability. The new Advance specification is also distinguished from the outside by a new quartet of 19-inch machined alloy wheels.
The Lexus RX 450h Advance also comes with dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and leather upholstery including heated, eight-way adjustable front seats. And of course, it also comes powered by a hybrid drivetrain that puts a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine together with an electric motor to deliver 299PS, yet returning a claimed 44.8mpg and 145g/km of CO2.
For those of you not familiar with Lexus’s trim hierarchy, the Advance spec sits in the middle of the range, above SE but below F Sport. Luxury specification costs the same as Advance, but doesn't feature the same styling upgrades, with the latter getting a deeper front bumper incorporating adaptive LED headlights. The Advance trim also gets the choice of sunroof or fixed panoramic roof.
