Polestar package launched for new Volvo S90 and V90

Volvo has launched a Polestar Performance Optimisation package for the new S90 and V90. The £835 upgrade increases engine power on the D5 PowerPulse diesel from 235PS to 240PS while torque increases by 20Nm to 500Nm.

These aren't exactly huge figures, but like the Polestar performance package for the XC90, the upgrade also improves throttle response, the automatic gearshift speed and precision, making both the V90 and S90 'even more dynamic and fun to drive' according to Volvo.

All changes as part of the Polestar Performance Optimisation package are made with certified emissions, fuel consumption, service intervals and Volvo warranties unchanged.
