Kia announces Picanto and Stonic special editions
Kia has revised its Picanto and Stonic line-up with two new special edition models for 2020.
The new Kia Picanto Zest special edition is priced from £12,650 and features bold Lime Light premium metallic paint as standard. Power comes from the entry-level 67PS 1.0-litre petrol engine combined with a five-speed manual gearbox.
Further standard kit includes 15-inch alloy wheels, grey faux-leather seats and a reversing camera. LED daytime running lights and rear lights are also included, as is rear privacy glass. The inside features black high-gloss trim and a seven-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Following on from last year's Stonic Maxx special edition, Kia's launched an updated version for 2020. Priced from £19,055, this is available with a manual or automatic gearbox and the 120PS 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine.
It's finished in a new colour combination - white paintwork with a contrasting red roof. Standard equipment includes 17-inch graphite-coloured alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and black faux-leather upholstery. At the rear, there's LED combination lights, while a reversing camera is also standard.
Alongside the two special editions, Kia has dropped the start price of its Niro PHEV thanks to a new entry-level model. The Kia Niro PHEV 2 is priced from £30,265 and comes with an eight-inch infotainment system with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, roof rails and a towing pack giving the Niro PHEV a towing capacity of 1300kg.
Further standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels and part leather upholstery.
