Ground clearance for the V60 Cross Country is up to 75mm higher than the regular V60, thanks to the specially developed Cross Country chassis and suspension that enhance the car's off-road capability. All-wheel drive is standard on the new V60 Cross Country, as are Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control, Corner Traction Control and a special Off-Road driving mode.
Like its 60 series and 90 series stablemates, the new V60 Cross Country benefits from Volvo's Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform, safety technology and infotainment system.
The new V60 Cross Country is also available through Care by Volvo, Volvo Cars' premium service that offers car access rather than ownership via a fixed monthly amount.

Volvo V60 Cross Country revealed
As well as permanent all-wheel drive as standard and an extra 60mm of ground clearance, the V60 Cross Country gets Hill Descent Control and an Off Road Drive Mode setting. The on-the-road price is £38,270.
Extra styling touches include bodywork protection elements finished in charcoal grey. These include wheelarch extensions, lower sill mouldings and a rear bumper embossed with the Cross Country logo. It also gets five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, which are specific to the Cross Country.
The boot has a capacity of 529 litres with the rear seats up (1441 litres with the rear seats folded down), along with underfloor storage and cargo hooks on both sides of the boot. The rear seats fold 60/40.
In common with all other V60 versions, the Cross Country benefits from Volvo's Sensus multimedia system, enabling quick and easy control of a wide range of vehicle functions, satellite-navigation, entertainment and information systems through a central nine-inch touchscreen.
The V60 Cross Country is available with a 190PS 2.0-litre D4 diesel engine, one of Volvo's new family of highly efficient Drive-E powerplants, matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Torque is 400Nm from 1750rpm which means a braked towing capacity of 2000kg. Using the standard 18-inch wheels, the official efficiency figures are 55.4mpg combined cycle fuel economy, with CO2 emissions of 135g/km.
The Volvo V60 Cross Country is also available with Volvo's 2.0 litre 250HP T5 petrol engine.
August 2019
Volvo announced installation of Vodafone data SIM car in all 2020MY Volvos. Allows car and occupants to be fully connected, with a WiFi hotspot, access to apps, real-time traffic information and safety alerts. Access to up to 100GB of data, independent of the user's own SIM-enabled devices. Operation is seamless across 42 European countries and territories. Available for up to 12 months for no extra charge on top of the car's initial purchase price, after which customer has the option to extend the agreement and continue to use the service by way of purchasing a data plan from Vodafone. SIM card available on all Model Year 2020 Volvo models, with a simple retro-fit option for cars already purchased.
