Phoney warning
A speed-warning device was attached to a lamppost outside my daughter's flat: the kind that flashes up a driver's speed. Immediately she began to experience problems with her mobile phone, which would cut out randomly and frequently: a problem because she has no landline. Her phone provider said that the camera could be the reason so she contacted her local council to explain the problem. They very quickly moved the camera and her phone has been fine since. The only query we have now is over the kind of signals these cameras send out and whether they can affect people who live close to them. We wondered whether other people have experienced anything similar.
