Breakdown of recently purchased used car
I purchased a 2003 (03 plate) Ford Fusion semi-auto from a small dealer (working from home) in Oxfordshire last October with just over 31K on the clock.
I declined an extended warranty because of where I live (Isles of Scilly), but since getting it home I have had to replace a front suspension strut and now the motors that drive the gearchange have also had to be replaced.
The total cost of repairs to date are about £950. Plus the cost of shipping the car to and from the mainland for repair. Does the dealer have any responsibilty to assist with these costs?
