Confusing NCD
Back in 2009 I took out car insurance with 6 years of NCD. That year I then had an accident which was my fault.
I am now ending my second year with that company (no accidents in this last year) and they are quoting me for renewal with only four years of NCD.
How does this work? The company, Swiftcover, say that they only credit up to 5 years, but I am still confused as to how my NCD has been reduced from 6 years to 4 years, in two years with one accident, can you explain, and is there anything I can do about it?

No, I can't explain how Swiftcover does it. But of course you have lost some NCD because you had a claim.
