Should Honda have replaced these parts?
Our four year old Honda Jazz, bought 12 months ago as approved used, passed its MOT and on the same day Honda carried out a short service and safety check.
They gave a red alert on the corroded brake pipes and lower suspension arm yet it had only done 6K miles since we bought it.t Total mileage of 20K.
We complained and the garage agreed to replace the brake pipes FOC ang give us a 10% discount for the arms, leaving us a £600 bill.
I asked to see the failed items and the flexibles only had surface corrosion, no deep pits on the ferrules, and the rubber bushes looked OK as well.
Surely they should have been found on their multipoint inspection for an approved car if they are as bad as they claim now. Who can I get an opinion from on their condition as Honda will not get involved?

If the brake pipes have been replaced FOC then why worry? Or is your dispute over the suspension arms? It's the first I've heard of this particular failure.
