Speeding Fines from Australia
I have recently returned from Australia where I was driving a hired car. I have now received two speeding fines in the post relating to being caught on camera.
As I drove over 3600 miles in four weeks I cannot recall the incidents. Each fine, issued by the Victoria Police, is for 153 Aus dollars and carries 'one Demerit Penalty Point.'
Am I obliged to pay regardless of geographical/nationality issues and are there any consequences re additional fines points on my licence if I don't?
