Buying a Toyota Corolla 2007 diesel - recommended? Price?

Would you recommend Toyota Corolla 2007 1.4 diesel? Any problems to be aware of? Price I should expect to pay in Ireland?

Same chain cam 1.4 diesel as the Yaris and won't be burdened with a DPF. Should be a good, economical buy. Pay £4,500 - £5,000 for a 40k mile 07.
