Dodgy dealer - do I have any recourse?

Do I have any rights? QA finance company advertised a Discovery at just under £15k. I drove it on a Friday and on Saturday agreed via text a price of £14,750. I was told an invoice would be emailed and the person I had dealt with outlined the payment terms.

A few hours later another text - "sorry a woman who had a viewing on Saturday pm insisted on turning up and offered more than the asking price. She has the car." I complained that we had struck a deal but was just told - "Too bad money talks"

Unless 'consideration' had actually changed hands (by which I mean they had actually taken payment from you, even in the form of a deposit) then you have no rights.
