I want to fit higher-profile tyres to my Ford Fiesta

I've just bought a July 2009 Fiesta 1.4 Titanium. It has low profile Pirelli tyres on it, and has a tyre repair kit in the boot. Ideally I'd like to replace the tyres with 'normal' higher-profile ones, but I understand this will be - at the least - uneconomical, as the wheels also would have to be replaced.

Obtaining a space saver spare wheel would give me some peace of mind. What type would I need? Does it have to have a low profile tyre?

Just buy a complete set of five 14-inch alloy wheels with 175/65R14 tyres. That will solve all your problems. Sell the bling wheels and tyres on eBay.
