How do driving instructors see the speedometer on a Toyota Yaris?
My wife has a 2003 Yaris and, as a passenger the other day, I observed that the speedometer is set in an oblique tunnel and is not visible to the passenger. How does a driving examiner deal with this?

This was the best, most easily read speedo on any car anywhere because it is line of sight and requires no refocusing to read. For driving school cars, Toyota offered a separate passenger speedometer. I think they have now abandoned the system because customers prefer dials and the customer is always right, even when he's wrong.
