Inconsistency in Ford UK's marketing
I don't understand Ford's marketing policy and wonder if you can throw light on it. I want to buy a Fiesta Zetec 5 door with the Ecoboost 125PS engine. Trouble is it doesn't exist. Ford market this as a 3 door but not a 5 door, and to get this engine in a 5 door you have to buy a Titanium model which is more expensive than the Zetec would be, and includes privacy glass which I don't like and other extras that I don't want. I would willingly go for a Fiesta ST, but this too comes only with 3 doors. Ford sells the Focus ST with 5 doors. Why doesn't it sell either the Fiesta Zetec Ecoboost 125PS or the Fiesta ST with 5 doors? Do you have any idea? I have sent an enquiry to Ford but don't expect any sense from them.

Ford offers what it thinks it is most likely to sell. You may get an outstanding deal on that Titanium model via www.drivethedeal.com and in years to come it will be worth much more than a Zetec. The Focus ST comes with 5 doors because there is no Focus 3 door body.
