Is it normal to have a three month wait for a new Skoda Citigo?
I've changed my mind and am now going for a new Skoda Citigo, 5-door Elegance, Greentech engine. I have a couple of questions: I've been told by the dealer that it'll be a three month wait; is this normal? I'll want most of the add-ons available. And how can I obtain a discount on the list price? I read about a target price but how do I go about haggling with the dealer?

Two words: ‘supply’ and ‘demand’. If there is a three month wait for a car, supply exceeds demand and you can't easily get a discount unless the dealer is anxious to meet some kind of incentivised orders target. If I was you I'd wait for the new Hyundai i10. It's better looking, better quality, nicer interior. With Ups, Miis and Citigos, gearboxes are a lottery. Most are be ok, but they might be noisy and might have to be replaced.
