Got a speeding ticket, but unsure who was driving - what should I do?
I received a ticket for speeding last week, but the date of the offence dates back to October! Both me and my dad use the car and we’re not sure who was driving at the time of the offence. I have requested a photo to determine who was driving, but it’s inconclusive. What should I do?

You are between a rock and a hard place. If you fail to identify the driver then the registered keeper has to take the fine. If you identify the driver incorrectly then you and the driver could both get six months inside like that MP and his ex wife did.
The late NIP could be because the registered keeper of the car is a company or a leasing outfit. If you are the registered keeper then the NIP is late and if you get a specialist solicitor onto the job you might be able to reject it for that reason.
