Between March 2008 and March 2013, we owned a Honda CR-V, 2000cc petrol. This vehicle suited us as I am now 75 years of age, 6ft 3 inches tall, I weigh 19 stone, have 1 replacement hip and a worn out pair of knees. My wife is 70 and has 2 replacement hips. Although the car was comfortable, she did not like driving it as she considered it too big. Consequently, in March 2013, we replaced it with a Honda Civic, 1800cc that does not provide the comfort of the CR-V. We feel that next March, when the car is 2 years old, we will replace it but a vehicle of a SUV nature but smaller is essential.
We would like to restrict the new purchase price to £25,000 to £30,000 but could go higher by using some "SKI" money - spending the kids inheritance!!! What would you recommend?
