Should I buy new or nearly new?
What would be a better buy a brand new Passat R Line 190PS diesel or a nearly new(only 980 miles on the clock) Audi A4 177PS Line?

The A4 is about to get phased out. I'd only go for the 140PS 2.0 TDI Passat. Above that Passat start getting above themselves. The new Skoda Superb makes far more sense, and Mondeo isn't bad either.
