Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI S tronic or Q3 2.0 TDI S tronic

I intend to lease a new Audi Q3 and am considering either the petrol 1.4 TFSI S tronic or the diesel 2.0L TDI both 150PS. I am concerned that the 1.4L engine may lack power compared to the diesel but also have some concerns about future regulatory changes for diesels. I have test driven both and both impress. I do 10,000 miles a year mostly around town, weekly 50 mile trips and 2-3 long distance where comfort is important. I like a car with excellent road holding, good power and acceleration when needed. My current car is an Audi A3 2.0L diesel auto sport back which has them in spades, more than I need! What would be your recommendation.

No need to worry about S tronic/DSG problems if leasing. No problem with power of the 1.4 TSI ACT 150. You might get 5-10mpg more out of the diesel, but not significantly more than that. The petrol is much nicer to drive.
