Buying a Polo DSG

I am planning to change my existing Polo for the new 1.2 TSE SE with dreaded DSG. Have you have you had any reports of problems with the DSG on this model? Also some reviews are saying ride is not as good as previous model if this proves to be true could I change to say 195/65 R15 tyres? Ride quality is most important to me with my creaking back.

I won't recommend DSG until I have a clear period with minimum (normal) level of complaints about them. I don't like them to drive and in particular to reverse. Yes, you could order a new Polo on 15-inch wheels with 195/65 R15 tyres, or an equivalent Fabia (which has a more modern 'chassis'), or an equivalent Ibiza. Better one of the last old shape (nicer shape) Jazz 1.4 i-VTEC CVT-7. More comfortable and far more practical, and now selling at deep discounts.
