SUV buying advice

I have between £5k-7k to spend on an SUV. I'm torn between a Honda CR-V and Mitsubishi Shogun elegance. Any thoughts?

Assuming you can get a 2007 or later CR-V for your money, that is a much more pleasant, car-like vehicle than a Shogun. Even the pre-2007 CR-V was light to drive and very practial, with a 'walk-through' cabin and also very reliable. But if you need to go off road or do any towing, then it would have to be the Shogun.
