Top notch not least its class leading fuel consumption

I have had the car for 22 months and done over 35000 miles. Apart from 2 oil changes and a set of rear tyres everything else is as bought. Does not use a drop of oil between changes. It achieves between 54mpg in winter and 57-58mpg in summer. It would do more if I was more considerate to it. Brilliant engine and fabulous gearbox. Of the extras on the car special mention here of the excellent auto headlights whose capability well worth the cost as is the blind spot warrning light on the external mirrors.

On the downside there is some wind noise. Also I have decided having bashed my head a few times on the boot lid that touring/hatchbacks are more practicable for lugging stuff around. And the collision warning optional extra on the car is poor and not up to BMW standards.
