A gem of a car

I was interested in the Swift after a recommendation from Honest John and so far it has proved to be a good choice. It reminds me a little bit of my old 1991 Mini Cooper although better built and more comfortable and certainly a lot safer! It handles well although not quite as good as the Mini. The engine is responsive with the turbo kicking in quickly and efficiently, I previously owned a Mazda 3 and that was really gutless in comparison to the Suzuki. The car is practical although not much room in the boot unless you fold the seats down and they don't go flat. My biggest complaint is the lack of a spare wheel, Suzuki make it very expensive to add one. The car is an ex hire car with over 25000 miles on the clock so I did get a good price with a saving of about £6000 compared to new car. Despite doing all those miles there are no rattles and with mixed driving I have got 50mpg. I am sure that could be improved if I was not so tempted to drive the car hard!
