Overall reliability

A smashing little car for my retirement.

Bought to replace a tired old skoda diesel that I used for work, doing 25000 miles a year. Now that I have retired I just need to pop to the shops or visit family and friends. The viva comfortably seats 4, and the rear seats fold down to reveal a good load space for DIY and trips to the tip. Just as well, because th3 boot is small, but still big enough for a weeks shopping. The on board entertainment system is really clever, able to navigate my I pod and sync to my mobile. The ride is firm without being harsh, and I am genuinely getting 55mpg average. The viva keeps up with other traffic well on the motorway, and the engine sings at 70. Quite pleasant. Only time will tell if the viva proves reliable, but compared to my first car, which was a three wheeler with a motorbike engine, this is fabulous.
