Is a petrol X-Trail any good?
You've pulled your recommendation of the X-Trail but most [if not all] the reliability issues seem to effect the diesel models. Would you still recommend the 2.0L petrol [albeit underpowered]?

The problems the 2.2d X-Trail seemed to be suffering from seemed to die off, so while not re-instating the enthusiastic recommendation I would still put it on some lists as a reasonable 2nd hand SUV.
